Theres a new contender for the title of worst Wii game of all time, and as the Highlander once said, there can be only one. The challenger is known simply as Block Party. Formed deep within the womb of time, the game was spawned by the development and publishing tandem of Ivolgamus and Activision, the same dream team which gave birth to Monkey Mischief: Party Time, a similarly repugnant slab of immutable Wii detritus. For Block Party, however, Ivolgamus and Activision have gone to unprecedented lengths, using the blood of a goblin, seven drops of mucous from the Wind Squid and spoiled milk from the rancid teat of a three-headed demon to create a game so unspeakably unplayable, even the awful Chicken Shoot trembles at its very presence. Or so Ive read on parchment scrolls dating back millennia. And Internet forums. In all seriousness, Block Party is bad. Really bad, in fact, and I dont mean that in a Well, I didnt like it, but you might sense. Its inconceivable to me that a person would find anything even remotely worthwhile or entertaining about this game. Block Party is not only offensively substandard; its also technically flawed, a bit frightening and even downright misleading. Classic Game Room HD reviews TRANSFORMERS THE REVENGE OF THE FALLEN for Xbox 360, aka Transformers 2 review for Xbox 360. This is the same version that appears on PS3 / Playstation 3 also called Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. This CGRHD review of TRANSFORMERS 2 has gameplay footage from Xbox 360 in HD showing game play in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. Published by Activision, there are numerous versions of this game available. This version, the 360 and PS3 version. Also the different Wii version, two different flavors (Autobot and Decepticon) available for Nintendo DS and a PSP variant of the game. Here on Xbox 360 the gameplay is fast and fun, you get to collect and play as numerous Transformers!!! Mighty robots, mighty machines…. or was that Go Bots…? More than meets the eye!! There we go, that’s Transformer lingo. Play two different campaigns, Autobot and Decepticon. The missions are broken into little chunks of explosions as you complete things in a race against the clock. Blow that up, shoot that thing, capture humans, etc… Play as Megatron, Optimus Prime, Starscream, Sideways or the lame-ass , goody-two shoes Autobots. Transformers 2 for Xbox 360 has XBLA support for multiplayer and leaderboards, it also has a free roam mode that you can unlock and roam around freely shooting tanker trucks. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of GUITAR HERO AEROSMITH for the Xbox 360 Video Game Console. Although this game is probably identical on the Playstation 3 PS3 and Wii game systems, this review uses the 360 guitar because it is the one I already own. Who doesn’t like Aerosmith? I’ll tell you who. People who like to stick cheese in their ears. This game has all the big hits like Walk this Way and Dream On, and also many songs from the band that aren’t as well known. You can play as DMC from Run DMC and the other band members from Aerosmith. The gameplay is solid and the graphics and animation are top notch. Sound quality is stunning and comes primarily from studio recordings. Your favorite characters from Guitar Hero III Monsters of Rock are in there. This game is a slight step forward in some respects from Guitar Hero 3, and I’m excited to see what they do with Guitar Hero 4. I hear that in Guitar Hero 4 they may allow you to make your own music and create all kinds of wild charaters and hot chicks with tattoos on their face. I hope they don’t get too carried away, I think that GH3 and GH Aerosmith are excellent games that are fun for the entire family. No, but this kids video game allows them to play as a veterinarian in a clinic and to use the Wiimote and nunchuk controllers to diagnose pets like cats, dogs, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. Although the game suffers from clumsy controls and sub-par graphics most young children probably won’t care. Pet Pals does not have flamethrowers, shrink rays or plasma autorifles, but it does have bandages, heart rate monitors and medical tools!
