The Tale of Despereaux

The tale of Desperaux isn’t just another WII game. It is different. With a captivating story line, it is just the type of game you get hooked on to without even knowing it. It is indeed a unique game which can’t really be compared to other computer games. Its uniqueness is its biggest attraction. It is famous with both the boys and girls.

The game is all about a cute little mouse Despereaux Tilling that loves and enjoys music, stories and of course the beautiful princess Pea. Desperaux is not the only mouse in the tale, there is another mouse named Roscuro. This mouse is confined to a life of darkness but all he wants is a life in the light. This tale is also about another important character; Miggery Sow. She is a young gal that dreams big. The Tale of Desperaux is about the journey embarked by these three characters. Their journey takes them to some exciting places, to name a few, a terrifying dungeon, a beautiful castle, and last but not least, their lives get entangled. The rest is for you to find out. 

The Tale of Despereaux is a very unique kind of tale. The game gives you the feel of heart, forgiveness, love etc. The tale is heart warming and soul stirring of a young mouse falling in love with a princess. Firstly they belong to two different kinds of being and not to mention, it makes you think about mice having feelings. You actually begin to like mice after playing the game. While this story is heart warming and touching, you have another one running too. It is that of the poor Miggery who was sold by her own father for barter. This poor little girl has a fairy world of her own. She has big dreams that are unachievable and seem impossible. The tale of Desperaux is indeed about all of this. You get lost in the lives of these three and find yourself hoping for the best for them.

The Tale of Desperaux is not like most other computer games. If you have kids, you may want to encourage them to play this game. Without them even knowing it, they will be getting a class about love and heart through this game. It is truly a great gift for kids between the ages of 8 – 12. They will receive a moral from the game and what is more surprising is, it is done in a way that they will find most appealing.
